The set contains four filters of the same size: two extract-air filters and two supply-air filters. It is a compatible replacement for VTS Ventus VS 21 units built with bag-filter frames in both the extract and the supply air stream. Ventus VS 21 is a unit size, not one fixed configuration, so this set does not fit every VS 21 unit: before ordering, compare the unit's Technical Data Card, the filter-section arrangement, the frame dimensions, the pocket length and the original filtration requirements. The all-M5 configuration of this set is not claimed to be the original factory configuration of every VS 21 unit.
What the filter set protects against
Filters are listed in extract → supply order:
- 2 x M5 extract-air filter: ePM10 55%, reduces dust and other airborne particles entering the unit from the indoor air
- 2 x M5 supply-air filter: ePM10 55%, reduces dust, pollen and mould spores in the incoming outdoor air
M5 is a former EN 779 class. These particulate filters do not remove gases or odours.
Use and maintenance
Switch off and isolate the ventilation unit before replacing the filters. Install two filters in each air section, observe the airflow markings and check the seal around the frame and the clearance for the pockets. Follow the unit's filter alarm and the permitted final pressure drop.
VTS gives an approximate replacement interval of twice a year under standard conditions; inspect the filters more often in dusty conditions. A typical replacement interval is 3–6 months, depending on use and contamination. Do not wash these disposable bag filters. Separate prefilters or additional filtration stages are not part of this set.
Manufacturing quality
Our house-brand filters are manufactured by AORA, a reputable and well-known filter manufacturer. This set consists of bag filters with four pockets per filter and metal frames. It is a compatible house-brand replacement, not an original VTS filter set.
